Nokia Betalabs

hi! I got a nokia 5230 and it doesnt let me open the ovi chat. Im not sure i doesnt work because i got it has a shortcut on my backgroung. My dad and my brother got a nokia c6 and the ovi chat works for them fine. Please someone help. Im not sure if there is anything wrong with my phone!!!!!!
