I have the Social widget set up on my second home screen (of 3) on my generic silver N8 with PR1.2. However, it is causing regular crashes of the UI (not the whole phone), where all the widgets on all the homescreens reload. This happens several times a day. When I remove the Social widget I get no UI crashes at all.
My homescreens have some photos of my own as backgrounds, other widgets on the 2nd homescreen are the Nokia RSS reader, Nokia Chat, the Nokia WLAN widget and Battery Monitor 2. I have the problem even if I remove most of those widgets, though I haven't tried every possible combination.
I had the same problem with Social 1.2 and on PR1.0.
