Makes iPhone users envious!

I've been using SportsTracker 2.6 for about a fortnight. My iPhone addicted partner is utterly envious. Apparently, there is no comparable background app for the iPhone. She claims that Apple won't permit developers to release background apps. Who knows! It's another reason I love my N95.

It is a version of OS X and there are multiple background tasks already. It is just not allowed for applications.
Some examples are: the music player, email polling and downloading of applications in the background.
