Store client for S40

C3-00, Latest Phone Update,.

The app itself became faster, and I really like the new update button, but I am getting an update icon everyday for Opera Mini 6.5, and it downloads the same firmware. It is really annoying.

I am using the 26.0.45 update of Ovi Store. I think the newest update is not for my phone?

I'm glad you are enjoying improved performance and the new features in the latest S40 Client. :-)

Regarding Opera Mini 6.5, this is discussed in another post in this forum... Please check out the discussion here: http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/store-client-for-s40/bugreport/50936/wron...

If you have 3.26.0.45, then you've previously installed it from this beta labs posting... In that case, yes, you should install this latest update 3.26.1.53.

*** HOWEVER *** you are using C3-00, which is NOT on the list of supported devices for this trial. As a result, you are using the touch-and-type interface on a non-touch device. And from now on, the Store is only going to offer you the touch-and-type interface. It will work, but the UX isn't optimized for your device.

I'll see if we can come up with a way to get you (and many other eager participants :-)) back to using the proper non-touch version of the Client. In the meantime, just keep using the one provided in this beta labs trial, and enjoy!

Thank you for replying :) I just updated to the 3.26.1.61. It gave me another update for Opera, but it is probably because I stopped downloading last week :D I will check again tomorrow to see if it is fixed or not.

I think you meant 3.26.1.53, right? (I don't think we have a 3.26.1.61...) :-)

As for the Opera update, as discussed in http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/store-client-for-s40/bugreport/50936/wron..., I don't think you are going to see that issue go away anytime soon... :-(

The store does not seem to be working on nokia x2-00 and i canot login to the new store and everytime i open any app a message (unable to open this page check your connection or try again later )appears although i have an internet connection please help me

Hi johnking54, I'm sorry to here you are having troubles connecting to Nokia Store.

First, note that the X2-00 is not one of the supported devices listed for this trial.

So... what version of the Client are you running on your X2-00?
Were you previously able to login and browse the Store?
Did you change something since it last worked and now?
Which country are you in, and which operator?

If you can provide some more information, we may be able to help you figure this out.

Please give more details about your device, country, operator, and which version of the Store you have installed. Did you install a Beta Labs trial? Please describe when you first encountered the problem, and if anything had changed prior to that time.

Hey this store version(3.30.2.42) that doesnot support C3 was working absolutely fab on my C3 ( not C3-01 ) untill few days back
but now it is unable to open the download page for any app or anything..( unable to open the page check your connection or try again later )
i downloaded few themes and some apps frm the new store and they are workng fine

How can i get a version of ovi that supports my c3? Help.
