Installs but search not working/responding

- Search querty not responding, typing does nothing, multiple reboot did not help
- Exits search when switching to landscape mode
- Widget does not respond in landscape mode
- No exit option from search window?

I have the same bug and have reported it, real shame, cannot re-install after several attempts, was great while it lasted, hope to try reset to get it to work, but will wait until I have a few hours spare, as last reset on E7 was very problematic :(

Have this bug, indexing was stuck at 100% all the three times when tried reinstalling. After restarting smart apps and smart contacts working fine, search stuck.

Let me know if the post at http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/universal-search-beta/bugreport/33249/sea... helps at all. As to exit when switching to landscape mode, it isn't really. If you look carefully, the cursor is still at the top left as if the text box is still there. It is just the homescreen appearing over the top. Since the keyboard is unresponsive though, it appears to have gone. Press the menu button and click on search again as this sometimes work, but look at the link above. I would love to know if it works for anyone else because I am loving it and can always manage to get it working one way or another. I know this is not ideal, should work out of the box, but it is a beta!

i switched off gps and internet search then the same thing happened. App no longer provided search results and now the app doesn't open and the icon also disappeared. Uninstalled now!
