Weather Widget causes my battery to drain in 6-7 hours instead of usual 40. Makes my phone completely unusable. The problem was here back when I used original version of Nokia Belle, though I could uninstall Weather Widget easily. I can't do that now on Nokia Belle Refresh. WHAT TO DO TO MAKE MY PHONE USABLE AGAIN? HELP! :(

this app really caught my eyes because of the increase in the intensity to update the the weather details with change of locations.

I love to see whats the weather is gonna be. Nokia has done a good job in this widget. It is on my front screen an looks very good on my Nokia E6-00.(one of the best ever ;-) The information is clear and you see direcly what the weather is gone be or is. The pictures give a good scene of the weather. So this is a good piece of work. Thank you Nokia.

Besides the very limited information it shows, the graphic is basic, there is no possible configuration (°C or °F, update interval, manual update only, etc...) and especially a process is ALWAYS running consuming A LOT of power. Even with no widget on, the process is still there! I hate this widget. Is provided by Nokia Belle Refresh and because of it I want to remove this update: no way to completely disable the widget. STAY AWAY

Awesome little widget. Doesn't take much screen room, doesn't take much power.

It runs well in my N8 with 111.030.0609. Not sure how it will work with B Refresh. I probably will refuse the Belle Refresh. Shows temp-s in Celsius and Fahrenheit well. I saw some complains about switching between C and F.The widget does not getting “Units” settings from maps/weather application . It takes Units settings if we force to change them. In order to get it in F: tap in the widget, it will open Weather application, even if your settings in the app set to F, go to the settings->Units and switch to C, apply the change, then go back and set to F again. The widget will pick up the change in F :} Current location or city settings are also getting from Nokia’s Weather application settings. This is just the widget (extended shortcut) on the existing application. I agree it would be good to give us ability to change the activity frequency like we can do with units and cities.. but this setting shoulod be implemented in the Weather application rather than in widget About the accuracy – fanny – it depends which satellite was captured :} About the battery, this one from beta labs is perfect. It sure uses the battery during its activity only (every 20-25min) for a few seconds, probably less than Exchange Mail :}. I use SwissManagerPro to manage my phone. The background is Weather (weatherpublisher.exe 155k). Not sure which widget is going with the buggy Belle Refresh but this one I got from labs is perfect!

The forecast is totally inaccurate. No use for this widgets, they just filled my homescreen with useless forecast information.

Weather widget installed & working as described. Was looking for this for a long time as it seems to be standard on Android & iPhones.

Downloaded the app, installed it. Then it wouldn't show up in Menu. Did a phone search-nothing. So I uninstalled it. Don't know what happened. Just a FYI and my 2 cents.

Recommended weather app, looks good (as good as iPhone/Andriod weather apps etc) - but it easts into your battery time quite a bit...

A must have. I notice a new clock screen saver comes with it but it will only come on when it wants to. i was wondering how to make it stay. all in all its the best. I travel constantly all over the usa and this is a time saver.

It really is very dynamic, not create obstacles in the system, it has marked an increase in battery consumption compared to consumption before installation. It is quite accurate, with errors of + / - 2/3 degrees Celsius which is quite acceptable, although I know widgets or applications more accurately.
