About me

I am an "old" user of Palm devices (including Handspring) and since 8 years I proud user of a Palm Tungsten 5 (T5).
At the same time, I use Nokia mobile phones since over 14 years.
I am currently switching to N9 with the objective to replace (and merge) my Palm T5 with my mobile phone needs.
PalmDesktop (4.1.4) satisfies my calendar, contact and notice management needs in a very simple and efficient way. I would not like to have to miss such simplicity of use.
For mailing, I use Thunderbird (after a year long used of Netscape mail client).
Several years ago, I decided to avoid Apple devices because of privacy concerns as well as because the freedom of use is not warranted.
I usually have a better confidence in Nokia and in Opera than in Apple and Google. I am not using GMail, even for synchronisation purposes.
